Ecological Map of a Boggy Beaver Flow

An ecological map of a large drained beaver flow, on peat and with a continuous sphagnum layer, at Branch Pond in southern Vermont. The elevation is 2,500 feet. The flow was likely flooded fifty years or more ago, and was probably a boggy conifer swamp before that. Jerry Jenkins, 2016.
