The Atlas Project, 2012-2022: A Graphic Summary

The Northern Forest Atlas Project began full-time work in July 2012. We made plans, installed a (wonderful) board of directors, did field work, and developed techniques for taking high resolution photos and making drawings from those photos. In the next five years, we took thousands of photos, began a series of air videos, created a website to make the photos and videos available for nonprofit use, made large photographic charts for classroom use, and planned a series of photographic guides.
